The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, demons, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might look unsuited, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the region and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could assist the party reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Explorers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect learning which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
